Frequently Asked Questions

How much does post-construction cleaning cost in the UAE?

Post-construction cleaning starts from AED 600 and takes a full day — around eight hours — for an average apartment. Villas and larger units take longer. Pricing depends on size and how much residue the builders left behind.

What does post-construction cleaning include?

Removal of cement and plaster dust from every surface, inside cupboards and on door tops; paint spots, adhesive and sticker residue on glass and fittings; grout haze on tiles; window tracks and frames cleared; AC grilles cleaned; and a full floor clean once the airborne dust has settled.

Why can't a normal deep clean handle a new-build?

Construction residue is not ordinary dirt. Fine cement dust is abrasive, sticks to surfaces, and keeps resettling as it is disturbed — it needs several passes and different equipment. Booking a standard clean on a new handover usually means paying for that clean and then paying again.

Is it done in one pass?

Usually two. The first pass removes the bulk of the debris and dust, then the remaining airborne particles are allowed to settle before a second detailed pass. Doing it in a single pass leaves a fine film that appears the next morning.

Do you clean newly handed-over apartments in Dubai and Abu Dhabi towers?

Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs there. New developments in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are constantly handing over buildings, so first-occupancy cleaning is routine work for us. Most towers need contractor registration and a booked service lift, which we arrange in advance.

Should it happen before or after snagging?

After the snagging work is finished, if you can. Any remedial work — filling, painting, tile replacement — creates new dust, so cleaning before it is complete means cleaning twice. If handover timing forces the issue, tell us and we will plan around it.
